Reach patients others miss.
CFCR combines experienced investigators, trusted practice partnerships, community relationships, and in-house recruitment to reach patients across the Triangle. Sponsors work directly with the local team responsible for delivery, from feasibility through closeout.
Several patient-access channels. One accountable site.
Through formal relationships with independent practices, CFCR aggregates patient access across psychiatry, cardiometabolic and endocrine care, pain, nonsurgical orthopedics, dermatology, primary care, and community health. In-house digital recruitment and community relationships extend that reach beyond any single practice’s patient list.
CFCR concentrates multiple referral relationships and patient pools into one standalone site, supplemented by outbound marketing and community events. A single CFCR contract can therefore reach patient access a sponsor might otherwise assemble across several network locations.
Our practice relationships support protocol-specific patient identification and referral workflows. Population estimates are presented with clear assumptions and are validated against the access available for the specific study.

Operational Commitments
Fast. Clean. Accountable.
48hr
FEASIBILITY
Feasibility grounded in real patient access
Feasibility questionnaires and priority protocol questions returned within 48 hours. Enrollment projections are built from investigator input, partner-practice data, protocol eligibility criteria, and confirmed recruitment channels. Material risks are raised before we commit.
What to expect
A candid go/no-go assessment, realistic screen-to-enroll assumptions, documented patient-access channels, and early identification of protocol or operational constraints.
48hr
CONTRACTS
Commercial review without the queue
Initial budget and contract responses returned within 48 hours. Direct access to CFCR leadership keeps business and operational questions moving without layered internal approvals.
What to expect
Budget, contract, and regulatory workstreams move in parallel. Site-controlled startup items are targeted for completion within 30 calendar days of receiving a complete startup package and required system access.
48hr
Data and queries
Clean data, kept current
Available visit data entered and routine queries answered within 48 hours. Potential deviations, safety events, and material study risks are documented and escalated according to protocol, IRB, and SOP timelines.
What to expect
Current EDC and regulatory records, proactive communication before issues compound, timely investigator review, and clear ownership through database lock and closeout.
For these commitments, 48 hours means two business days. Protocol-specific timelines take precedence, and turnaround begins once complete materials and required system access are available.
Why we are different
Built to outperform where it matters most.
“The people making commitments to sponsors are the same people responsible for delivery.”
Community First Clinical Research
Built to enroll faster and reduce dropouts
We focus on recruiting through our partner practices and community organizations patients already know, so the first contact carries a trusted provider’s credibility.
Structured to keep one stable team on your study
Decisions here are made by people close to the work, not dictated by debt loads or growth-at-all-costs targets set by outside owners. Retention, quality, and follow-through come first.
Operationalized to enroll for diversity
Our Community Impact Fund and nonprofit partnerships keep us present and trusted in underserved and minority communities before any protocol calls for them.
Set up to deliver several sites’ access through one contract
We concentrate multiple referral relationships and patient pools into one standalone site, so a single CFCR contract can reach the patient access a sponsor would otherwise assemble across several network locations.
Committed to lasting local impact
We believe research should improve the lives of individuals and their communities, which is why a meaningful portion of every study supports local health initiatives through our Community Impact Fund.

Diverse enrollment by design, not by accident.
CFCR builds patient access through practices and community relationships that serve varied populations across the Triangle. The Community Impact Fund keeps the site visibly engaged in local health priorities before, during, and after any individual study, helping build the trust that supports participation and retention.
Our community partnerships create ongoing relationships in underserved and minority communities. This is not an enrollment strategy we activate for a study. It is how we operate every day, which means the trust is already there when a trial opens.
