More options for your patients. No research burden for your team.
A research partnership built around your practice, not the other way around. Create meaningful access to innovative therapies for your patients while we handle every operational detail.
We are not trying to turn your practice into a research site. CFCR operates the research infrastructure, staff, systems, and participant visits from our standalone Raleigh facility. Your team chooses its level of involvement, and we build the workflow around what is practical for your practice.
Built around your practice. Not the other way around.
New revenue without new infrastructure
Create a meaningful source of practice revenue without hiring coordinators, building regulatory systems, giving up exam rooms, or asking providers to manage trial operations.
More options for appropriate patients
Eligible patients may gain access to investigational treatments and study-related services at no cost, expanding the options your practice can discuss with them.
Patients remain yours
CFCR’s role is limited to the research. We coordinate with your practice throughout the process, and routine treatment and downstream clinical decisions remain with the patient’s existing physician.
No operational burden
CFCR handles screening, scheduling, participant visits, study staff, regulatory workflows, data systems, monitoring, and sponsor communication. Nothing spills into your office.
Simple from the first conversation.
Most partnerships start with a 15-minute call. We learn about your practice, your patients, and what level of involvement makes sense. The model flexes to what works for you.
01
We start with a conversation
A brief call to understand your practice, your patient population, and which therapeutic areas may be a good fit for upcoming studies. No commitment required.
02
We agree on your level of involvement
Your role can be as simple as helping identify interested patients. We can also support deeper investigator involvement if your providers want it. The model flexes to what works for you.
03
We handle the rest
Coordinators, IRB, data systems, regulatory workflows, patient visits, and study logistics all run from our standalone facility. Nothing spills into your office.
04
You gain a seat at the table
As a partner practice, you may designate a representative to our Community Impact Council and help direct reinvestment into your community through our Community Impact Fund.
Ways to partner
Three partnership types. Any combination. No exclusivity.
These arrangements are nonexclusive. A practice can participate in one or all three, and the level of involvement can change over time as studies and relationships evolve.
Identify and refer
Identify patients who may want to learn about an open study. CFCR handles education, screening, enrollment, and every research visit.
Deeper clinical involvement
Interested physicians may participate as investigators or sub-investigators on selected studies, with full operational and regulatory support from CFCR.
Defined clinical services
When appropriate for a protocol, a practice may perform defined clinical services or procedures under a documented, fair-market-value arrangement.
All arrangements are documented in writing, tied to legitimate services, and reviewed for fair-market-value and compliance requirements.
What makes this model different.
Most research partnerships ask practices to absorb operational burden in exchange for access. We built the opposite.
Research that also strengthens the community you serve.
A meaningful portion of every study we run is reinvested into the Triangle through our Community Impact Fund. Partner practices may help identify community health priorities, join supported events, and receive transparent updates on funded initiatives.
This keeps research visibly connected to local health outcomes and builds the trust in research that supports ongoing participation across your patient population.
What practices ask us before partnering.
If you have a question that is not here, the easiest next step is a 15-minute call.
Will this disrupt my daily operations?
Do I have to participate as an investigator?
What therapeutic areas are you working in?
How does the relationship actually begin?
Are partnerships exclusive?
Tell us about your practice.
Fill out the form and a member of the CFCR team will contact you within one business day to learn about your practice and whether a partnership makes sense.
